Friends often joke that I’m their “favorite vet” because of my dedication to learning and researching what’s best for dogs. Over the years, I’ve combined my hands-on experience, my love for dogs, and my self-taught expertise to create treats that go beyond just being tasty—they’re crafted to support dogs’ health and happiness.

 

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Wendy, the founder and creator behind Milara Paws. From designing and baking to packaging and sourcing local ingredients, I’m involved in every step of the process to ensure that each treat is perfect. I take pride in creating products that make dogs happy and healthy while supporting local farmers and producers.

When I’m not in the kitchen or researching canine nutrition, attending dog vendor events or Pet sitting, I’m spending time with my own dogs, enjoying their playful energy and taking inspiration from their joy. I believe that every treat should be a moment of happiness for dogs, filled with the high-quality, natural ingredients they deserve.

Our Journey

My journey began in Mexico, where I grew up surrounded by dogs that were more like guardians than beloved family members. But everything changed when I welcomed my own Cocker Spaniels into my life. I became deeply invested in their health and nutrition, researching and learning everything I could about what’s best for dogs. This passion led me to start making homemade, healthy cakes and treats.

As my skills grew, friends and dog owners took notice, and they encouraged me to turn my passion into something bigger.
